We see downtown Ottawa, Ohio as a thriving hub of activity that connects to the Blanchard River, provides local residents and visitors with entertainment and recreation opportunities, and attracts real estate and small business investment.
Go Ottawa considers the revitalization of Downtown Ottawa, Ohio a priority while maintaining focus on the city-wide implementation of the Go Ottawa Strategic Plan. We are now in a position of strength to plan for the future with focused investments in place, people, and how we tell our story. We believe our downtown can be a place where we come together as a community to celebrate our hospitality and culture. Our tight-knit river town of four-square-miles can be even more walkable, bikeable, and floatable.

Join a Committee
Design Committee: Involves improving Ottawa's image by improving its physical appearance.
Typically Meet: Third Thursday @ 2pm
Organization Committee: Involves building consensus and cooperation between the groups that play a role in Ottawa.
Typically Meet: Fourth Tuesday @ 12pm
Promotion Committee: Involves promoting Ottawa's uniqueness to shoppers, investors, new businesses, visitors and others.
Typically Meet: Third Monday @ 3:30pm
Economic Vitality Committee: Involves strengthening and diversifying the existing economic base of downtown.
Typically Meet: Second Wednesday @ 3:30pm
